Flatfish

This is the Flatfish. It's a work in progress model. The front section, looks kinda like a boomerang, is a stand-alone ship. It's actually the most commonly found cargo hauling chassis modified for combat (heavier armor and more powerful engines). Then theres the long flat section with engines on the top and bottom (for spinning the ship). This is the section that needs the most work. This is where the ship-of-the-line concept really comes in. On this section I'll be modeling a whole bunch of ballistic and energy based batteries. The final section (the + shape in the back) is a massive missile pod (vertical section of the +) and additional engines (the horizontal section of the +). Anyway this is about half the size of the Tempeste Cahssenere. This ship is designed to be an efficient support craft. Poor in solitary combat, but when it circles the combat radius laying down its heavy fire it can sway the tides of battle.
